The ChatGPT answer (that made up the dedication text) has two links as "references" for the claim. Would be interesting to know what's written on those pages.

The Authors Guild has spent years fighting to keep books out of AI training data. AI doesn't reliably know what's inside books. These facts are related.

"AI" doesn't know anything. It just generates sequences of words vaguely resembling meaningful text.
