Codex vibe-coder who mostly creates personal tools: tell it to accomplish X task with details on milestones, ensure tests are comprehensive and passing, then lint, fix any errors that come up, keep going until I have a working app. And despite the custom config.toml I have to remind it has full access to my system, tools, internet, and mcp servers, and "keep going until tasks are fully accomplished".

It will work for hours and hours if needed while I do something else with my time.

If it gets stuck, I sometimes have to start a new chat and word the prompting differently.
