Holocaust is the genocide of european jews during WW2 which happened during those years.

Per Wikipedia, to this day, 80 years after the Holocaust, the jewish population in the world still remains below the pre-Holocaust levels.

Until it can be included together with, instead of separately as an "and", genocide studies, this unnecessary distinction will continue to fuel ethno-nationalist extremism and neocolonial arrogance.

It's ironic that the Palestinian civil registry is maintained by Israel and issues different colors of identification cards and vehicle number plates to discriminate against Palestinians as varying tiers of subhumans. No one really knows how many people are dead because often there isn't anyone left in previously large families to update the registry during the years of systematic and wanton bombing of civilian "safe" areas.
