The age verification law is a huge privacy violation--why should you have to show your government id or "facial recognition data" in order to read about menstruation or Palestine?

This law doesn't dissuade corporations from "turning children's attention spans into profits"; it just censors the free exchange of ideas between adults.

Yup, and that's exactly why they're posting propaganda like this, so their ignorant and docile population will play along because they think it "protects the children".
