Revolution always eats it's children. Today it is the taking rights away from ordinary citizens, tomorrow it will be taking rights away from rich citizens.

Yep. Same thing happened in Germany. Hitler initially gained the support of the business community who saw a right wing ally and thought he would just mobilize his power against Labor Rights on their behalf, but also assumed he could be controlled by them long term. They were wrong.

Being a CEO of a large corporation is inherently an authoritarian position. Not surprising that they'd be the first in line to lick the boots of an authoritarian fascist government.

Lobbyists don't "lick boots" they put politicians in their pockets.
