Hi HN! I'm the author of this piece. I wrote it after struggling with my own writing habits for years and realizing that chasing metrics and external validation was killing my creativity.

Why are you putting this in a "Show HN", just post it as your blog. It's a great title, but not a product.

Good question, I wasn't sure if this convention is only used for products. I was doubting myself when I added it. Based on your feedback I won't include if for any of my posts going forward
