The Liquid Glass screenshots look like an assortment of noisy customized Linux compiz desktops or blurry Windows Vista.

I don’t understand what human factors needs are being met here; probably none. Who is asking for backgrounds on Messages windows? Who is asking for these gratuitous animations? What is the design reasoning?

Probably someone from leadership in apple just doing to save their job.... And I upgraded today just to revert back.

HUGE round corners on Finder windows. Gonna take a while to get used to them.

I guess everyone in Apple has 20/20 vision.

The target audience is everyone who wanted their Mac to run iPadOS. Without a touchscreen.

It may have rough edges, but it doesn't fit the definition of Enshittification at all.

> first, they are good to their users; then they abuse their users to make things better for their business customers; finally, they abuse those business customers to claw back all the value for themselves. Then, they die.

No this 100% is Enshittification - making the entire os a big shiny flashy jewel that's good for promo shots, but bad actual users, all to please shareholders.
