I loved JTR better than hashcat.

Capturing all my neighbours handshakes, and cracking them over a weekend, with 6 and 8 char [:xdigit:] and [:alpha:] passwords on my old gaming rig.

I wonder if it is still possible in todays climate of 12-14 "0-9A-Za-z" [:alnum:], default passwords on routers, to crack them with a single GPU in a day.

I gave up once passwords went beyond 8 uppercase and 8 lowercase.
