I am an elf/linux gamer: many games on steam are "scams", and you will have no chance against 'advanced scams'. Like, game = hardly more than a beautifull demo. You cannot trust online reviews nowdays.

I will know the movie was 'not for me' once I fully paid for it and watch a good chunk of it... and you would be a fool to trust those beautiful trailers.

Steam has curators... but they are not to be fully trusted even though it helps detecting real scams.

While I am thinking about it: it is REALLY complicated.
