I was on a Hawaiian Airlines flights with FREE Starlink; game changing. You pretty much would not know it was plane internet connectivity. Was streaming HD videos flawlessly.

I did a latency test for fun and it was around 70ms.

I was on a United flight that was using Starlink to provide internet access during the flight.

It wasn't any better than the old provider. Yes, it was faster. But it cut out every few seconds. The old provider was slower but the signal never dropped.

EDIT: United's issues with Starlink are a known problem and Starlink has been working to fix them. But I suppose the Elon fanatics can't handle criticism, however mild.

Delta had the same issues at the same time. United has had the same issues before with Sattelite Internet.

It's fixed. It's gone. If you're having issues and your device isn't common, you should let the people at United know. Else, it's your device.

It's not an Internet Quality issue that United is having, it's an interference issue with the radios used to communicate with ATC.

The old provider was significantly slower (<50Mbps ATG)

BTW, if you paid for it, it's not Starlink.

I've had almost exactly the opposite experience. Never had a consistent connection with Panasonic or GoGo, but on my Starlink flight I was streaming live videos without a single hiccup.
