AI is just beginning as an industry. By putting these regulations on it now, you are only going to be left behind when other countries have no such regulations and will end up being years ahead of you.

France is the only country that understands the future implications of being asleep on the AI matter. ESM (European Stability Mechanism) need to add young blood in the round table, or you/we will be irrelevant and obsolete soon.
