I’m not questioning Jonny Ive’s genius, but lots of geniuses need constraints to do their job well. Maybe this is all Sam Altman’s idea, but in struggling to see the killer AI device (that’s not a phone) and somehow doubt Jony Ive is the person to design it unless he’s in heavy conflict with someone else about it.
