I know a guy on this team. Top bloke, good at what he does. quite keen at doing it well.

If that any indicator of the rest of the team its an impressive line up.

I also knew some good programmers who went to Microsoft. And there is also Mark Rusinovitsch. But the overall quality and security of Microsoft software sucks big time. And their breaches (AD, Outlook) are legendary.

these guys dont write software, they hunt search and monitor. they help find how you got hacked and walk you through how to recover.

The article opens with Salt Typhoon, an attack on telephone switch gear detected by MS. Are you suggesting that switch gear was created "so shitty" by MS?

I feel that, in your rush to blame Microsoft, you might have skipped over the facts presented.
