  In October 2014, at an event introducing the new dual-motor “D” variant of the Model S, Elon Musk surprised attendees by announcing the introduction of the “Autopilot” suite - an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) which would provide new active safety and convenience features. At the time, Musk said that there were “not enough safety redundancies in place” yet to enable autonomous functionality, but he began painting autonomy as Tesla’s ultimate ambition.

On one hand I'm tempted to say: "yes of course". On the other hand I feel like saying: even a slight amount of accuracy would be very out of place for claims involving Tesla, wouldn't it?

I keep reading this in various places, but everytime I've checked the used prices aren't that low.

This just isn't a significant decline as far as influencing a purchase decision.

EVs in general are becoming more common on the used market, and prices there are lower than previous years.
