I'm in the SEA area working with a company that's legally US based. Never tried Remote, but 110% happy with Deel. We reevaluated our options recently too and Deel came out on top.

Extensive experience with both. These days I default to Deel for no reason other than I find them more flexible with obscure requests and niche questions. They are both competitive in terms of price and both have a solid UI (more important than you'd think).

They also love to compete with each other so make sure to share the quotes with both sides and let them bid for your business.

Not entirely on point, because I used Deel as a contractor, but just my 5 cents. I had some issues with their invoices which was time-sensitive and their CS was very responsive. The issue was solved way faster than I expected.

If cost is a concern, then Remote is a better option.

I've been using Deel for contractors for 2 or so years now. Very good experience overall. Always responsive customer service.

Only issue (and probably not unique to Deel) was that I couldn't hire a contractor in Venezuela through their platform.

I’ve used Deel EOR in the US and Argentina. So far so good on all counts!

Just one data point, but we’ll only look at changing things up if we get enough people that we can get a good health plan directly to save on some of the EOR cost domestically at least.

We used Multiplier, because it was the most economic option.

A freelancer we work with gets paid in local currency with Wise. We have a contract with him directly. No broker involved.

Deel covers more countries that Remote last time I checked. Whereas better experience than any other tool in the same niche.

Velocity Global has less customer issues than deel or remote in my experience, but I am biased!

Are you hiring contractors or full time?

I am based in SEA, is there anyway I can see if I could be a fit here?

Any chance you're hiring marketers? (Emails, ads, copy, funnels etc.)?
