So much for the popular narrative that boomers had half a century of the strongest economic prosperity ever and hence a huge head start over later generations. This only applies to a small percentage of boomers who saved and invested; most did not not. Or didn't earn much at all. The notion of boomers all being wealthy sitting on mountains of home equity or buying $250,000 RVs is just a minority. Like all demographics, wealth is a distribution.
