How will Retraction Watch prevent abuse of this? If a "cloned" or "hijacked" journal (reminiscent of Jan Chipchase's "superfakes") is good enough to fool even the smartest among us, inevitably Retraction Watch will put real journals on the "hijacked" list. Not to give the hijackers or cloners ideas, but they could submit the real journals to deliberately muddy the epistemological waters, too. How does a "real" journal prove bona fides in the face of self elected bureaucratic inertia and AI-assisted copying?
