The grim reality is that many Australians cannot afford a third dimension. When I visited a friend in Australia, he was living in a Flathome™, stacked alongside an infinite number of such homes in between two fence posts. It was extremely awkward when I had to jump over him to go to the bathroom. Once I talked to a lamp for fifteen minutes before realizing it wasn't him, but I couldn't tell.
