This part is the most baffling to me; why would the court side with Apple, who allows absolutely no freedom whatsoever, but against Google, which already allows real sideloading (not some kind of fake pay-per-install nonsense like Apple implemented for DSA).

It's a completely ridiculous ruling; can we somehow require judges in these sorts of cases to be tech-literate?

I have an iPhone and hardly ever think about Android. Clearly, they don't compete; or they suck at it so bad that I'm unaware of the competition.
