For context, TikTok made a change a few months ago that prevents you from watching videos that have been shared with you if you don’t have the app installed. For those that refuse to install TikTok, this can be frustrating.

OpenTok for Safari automates a simple page redirect to strip tracking details from TikTok links allowing them to play in the browser. It also implements some CSS rules to clean up the webpage to prevent you from being redirected to the App Store constantly.
