You know they're totally a winning team that everyone wants to win, when you have to offer money to strangers to help find people who MIGHT vote for the guy.

Canvasing has been around forever. You've never had someone outside a grocery store ask you whether you're registered to vote?
Trump's 2016/2020 campaigns did less of these older methods of finding votes as, believe it or not, they were a fairly grassroots movement driven largely by the internet and rallies
