This war - is not ending anyway, even if ukraine collapses, its just 5 years on the bench and then it resumes, in the baltics, in poland, somewhere else. That imperialist monster will not go away, not with appeasement, not with territory, not with kotaus and harsh gestures. All that was tried, and all that it brought was this war. We must fight not because we want, but because its the only option we got, because lesser man, gambled away the security we had in the last 30 years.
Article's title was "Ukraine is facing a perilous moment in the war with Russia". i.e. "Ukraine is facing severe difficulties". The current caption ("Ukraine is losing the war") has a different spin which is misleading.
Even "At risk of losing" would be OK and not inaccurate. But the choice of phrasing "Ukraine is losing" diverges significantly from the phrasing in the original.
The article itself just doesn't say much, but simply links to two other articles.
Ukraine has no chance unless they drag NATO into this meat grinder, which is what they are trying to achieve.
They're not, and are doing the exact opposite in fact. The best way to avoid NATO entanglement is to support Ukraine so it can turn the tide on its own.
Meanwhile Russia's regime can stop this thing any time it wants to.
