Based on OP's history, I doubt this was an accident, but both "inner city" and "thug" have become racist dog-whistle terms.

To OP: have the courage to say what you really mean and accept the consequences. If you're ashamed of your beliefs, perhaps they could stand to be re-examined.

I’m just using the same language as the Post on X. American hyper sensitivity to certain words is not universal. The point is that driverless taxi companies will eventually have to face reality outside of the relatively safe areas where they currently opeate.

You didn't quote a random tweet. You quoted a racist, right-wing, anti-immigrant account.

Even if you're just quoting someone else, there is a message in what you choose to quote. There are a million other ways to make this point, if it's even a valid one.
