You'd think with all that money they'd have some decent content. Since Blue Eyed Samurai, I haven't watched a thing on Netflix. It would be interesting what percentage of people actually watch Netflix w/o a second screen in their face and what percent just keep it around for that one series a year (me).

What Netflix seems to have discovered is that for the price of one high quality prestige drama, you can instead buy in 20 low budget shows and documentaries from around the world and still have cash left over to make another 20 competition and reality TV show. Those 40 shows between them will then draw in more viewers than the one high budget prestige project.

All that being said Netflix also got more Emmy nominations and awards this year than any other streamer or network (mainly for Baby Reindeer, The Crown and Ripley), so someone seems to find somethings they do 'decent'.
