I don't we should be admiring such an attack especially after it killed civilians and innocent people (https://www.washingtonpost.com/video/world/funeral-held-for-...).

On top that, this attack just sets a terrible precedent and opens the door to more similar attacks happening elsewhere.

And yet you say [1] "For example, Israel could have accepted the hostage swap and then picked Hamas operatives slowly but surely given their superior military and intelligence. Israel however prefered [sic] killing lots of civilians as 'collateral damage' in order to kill a few Hamas operatives and they didn't even manage to rescue hostages. The crime lies in the blatant disregard for civilian life in Gaza."

In this operation, thousands of terrorists were successfully targeted and you've provided a link to one civilian. If you think that the Washington Post or the NY Times is reluctant to report exaggerated numbers of civilian casualties then you haven't been paying attention. But let's be generous and say that there were 30 unintended civilian casualties implying a ratio of ~30/3000 civilians to terrorists.

My conclusion is that you are not making this argument in good faith and that anything that Israel does to defend itself will not satisfy your "standards".
